The (Great) British Spring.

Yesterday was the warmest sunniest day of the year so far. It definitely felt like Spring had arrived… and seemingly the flowers thought so too.

Alas, in true British style the sunshine was fleeting and today it’s rainy and grey again. However, whilst the weather might fail me from time to time, wool never does! When I was at Wingham back in January I bought some lovely soft merino fibre which at the time seemed a lovely warm winter gold. Now, it definitely feels like a spring colour; as close to sunshine as it’s possible for a yarn to be – just the ticket to cheer up a dull March day 🙂

I don’t have much of it (less than 100g) so project options will be limited. As an ode to spring, I think something with leaves/flowers… any ideas?
